Heads Missouri County Clerks Group

Clerk Kelly Christopher, who has served as county clerk since
1991, has been named president of the Missouri County Clerks and
Election Authorities Association. Her designation was formalized
last fall during the organization's annual conference in
Branson.
As
president, Christopher is in charge of organizing the agenda and
training for the 2008 conference which will be this fall in
Kansas City. The organization trains county clerks and election
authorities. serves as a legislative watchdog and recommends
legislative changes. Christopher
has been active in the Missouri County Clerks and Election
Authorities Association, having held office as the group's
first, second, and third vice president as well as serving as
chairman of its scholarship committee. As Livingston County
Clerk, Christopher has served on the Central Voter Registration
Database Committee, the Help America Vote Act Planning
Committee, and the Missouri Central Voter Registration Database
Oversight Committee. |
