A swearing-in ceremony for several Livingston County elected officials closed out 2008 Wednesday afternoon. The ceremony was held in the circuit courtroom of the Livingston County courthouse. County Clerk Kelly Christopher (left) served as the administrating officer. Those beginning new terms in office are, beginning second from left, are: East District Commissioner Kenneth Lauhoff, beginning his fourth term in office; West District Commissioner Todd Rodenberg, beginning his first term in office; Public Administrator Sherry Parks, beginning her second term in office; and Sheriff Steve Cox, beginning his third term in office. Coroner Scott Lindley, who is beginning his eighth term in office, was not present. Swearing in ceremonies will be held later for Martha Peery, who will begin her first term in office in April; and Assessor Steve Ripley, who will begin his third term in office in September.
Terms for county offices are four years each.
